One can configure number of news items to display and whether to show/hide any of Intro text, Section Name, Category Name. This is an enhancement of existing "LatestNews with IntroText" extensions - Another extension by OpenSource Technologies.

| Posted: 15 Feb 2010 11:32 PM PST  It's a very simple, and probably useless, add-on to get Geocaching Statistics information on your site. Just fill in your GeoCache UID and that's it. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geocaching This is my first attempt at a Joomla extension. It's a very simple, and probably useless! And yes, this can be easily done with a custom html module, but hey ...... I love Joomla and just wanted to get into the extensions developing.

| Posted: 15 Feb 2010 11:22 PM PST  Simple and free Module to countdown/countup from the current date or calculate the difference between two events and display the result as years, months and days. It does not make use of 32/64-bit unix timestamps, so it will also work for dates outside the range 1970-01-01 through 2038-01-19. The function respects leap years, but does not take into account the 10 days removed in the year 1582 from the calendar (October 5 through October 14, 1582) to fix calendar drift. * countdown/-up from current to a specified date or * caslculates the difference between two specified dates * output via variables for years, months and days * different and individual formatting possibilities for header, middle (content) and footer area * "modul class suffix" supported More detailed information about each parameter setting can be found in the popup help text of the module parameter settings pane.

| Camp26 Image and News Scroller Posted: 15 Feb 2010 11:06 PM PST  As the module name suggests, the module will display your images and news in a scroll effect. By this module, your images will be shown first, and if you put your mouse over those images, text for that image will pop up. you can scroll the image to left/right, continually. that means, after you scroll to last image, you'll back to the first image. The module is also easy to set. After installation you'll have default images for this module. you can add/changes those image by uploading your own image to media/image_scroller folder in you joomla directory and you can select those image to appear in the module via module administration.
