| Posted: 16 Apr 2010 08:01 PM PDT  The Joomla module mod_latestnews allows you to show either the most recently created articles OR the most recently modified articles on top of the recent articles list. What if you want to show BOTH newly created articles AND recently modified articles on the top of the list? You can't do it because Joomla sets the "modified date" for new articles to "0". This little plugin solves the problem by setting the "modified date" of new articles equal to the creation date. That way, when you set mod_latestnews to sort by "Recently Modified" first, it will put the most recent articles at the top of the list regardless if they are brand new articles, or recently modified articles. This way, you are always sure that BOTH the newest articles and recently modified articles always appear at the top of the list.

The plugin put the Next and Previous entry to the current Sobi2 entry's detailed view. This is a simple, but very useful and user-friendly function which helps to keep the users (and the searching robots ) on the site. It is easy to customisable and you can generate different navigation style because of detaild settings which you can bring to perfection with editing of plugin's style sheet (css) if necessary. | Posted: 15 Apr 2010 07:12 PM PDT  This module lets you display your guild's top 5 or top 10 achievers parsed from the armory. Just paste your guild info's link (e.g. http://eu.wowarmory.com/guild-info.xml?r=Zuluhed&gn=Alars+Asche) to the module and it will parse the data for the module.
