| Posted: 13 Mar 2010 07:04 PM PST  JComments DAvatar plugin makes support of users´ avatars in the JComments component. You can use this plugin instead of JoomlaTune´s JComments Avatars plugin. This plugin requires DAvatar content plugin, so you need it to be installed, enabled and configured. You must decide which plugin you will use to show users´ avatars in comments: this one or JoomlaTune´s. Of course, you can install and enable both plugins, but only one will effect (last in the order). You must know, that this plugin needs more resources and generates more database queries. So why you can choose my plugin? Main reason is JFusion. DAvatar plugin works with any application, integrated via JFusion.

Requires PHP 5.3 to run! jscan_http is a command line utility that scans the directory of a Joomla site for PHP files and tries to access them directly via the web server. Ideally no output should be received from directly accessing any PHP file, with the exception of index.php, index2.php (etc) which should display regular HTML output. Some files will return warning text, such as "Restricted Access", and these will be ignored and considered safe. Any unexpected output will be logged to the console. This tool is ideal for developers of Joomla component, modules, plugins and templates to ensure that their files correctly prevent direct access (by specifying the exact path to the file in the URL).

It can be used with standard Joomla's content, but some options will only be available with FLEXIcontent. This module was first created by Micker and Thierry S. The module automatically detects if FLEXIcontent has been installed on the site and shows you different parameters accordingly, so you can use it on "normal" Joomla sites too. Features: * Show article's title, introtext, hits, rating (total or average), image, date, author(name or username), category, comments * Limit to Category(/ies) or Section(s) * Choose wheter to show only frontpage articles, all but those or both of them. * It can be used as a "Related Articles" module, without losing any of its capabilities. But it won't let them process the payment without filling in both the fields provided. The articles are listed in the order they appear in that Category. The use of this module eliminates the need make a new menu item for every article written as any article added to the selected category will show up in the module. This is particularly useful when dealing with a lot of articles and also simplifies organization.
