This system will gather a visitors City, State, Country, Zipcode, Arecode, Map Coordinates, Timezone, GMT offset and DST offset from their IP address. This information is then stored in a DB as well as a cookie which includes an API to easily access this information to use in any number of ways. This package includes 4 extensions, 1st the Member Matching Module called "GeoAvatar" this module is written for Jomsocial and Community Builder and will look at the visitors IP address and find all members within a certain distance of the visitor based on pre-set criteria such as state or country,This also works for logged in members. GeoGroup is similar to GeoAvatar but it displays groups local to the viewer, This only works for Jomsocial at the moment. Also included is a text tag system for joomla which will allow you to customize articles according to visitors, See the front page article for an example. Our Welcome message welcomes a user if they are registered to the system even if they are not logged in. If they are not registered it simply states welcome guest. This is done by placing tags in your articles such as [name] which will call you WebMaster if you are a member.

In between message changes, the scroller turns semi transparent (in IE4/NS6+) as the next message slides up to cover the old. A handsome effect you may have seen in the past rendered using Flash, except this isnt! Note that the translucent effect is not visible in NS4 (though scroller functions in it). The conference's got a voice and webcam support so that participants can communicate without any difficulties. In addition there's a chat pane where users can exchange messages. But what's more important the conference window allows to work with files with a special toolbar for drawing. It also allows video files playback during the conference (swf format only). Users may also access the joomla conference archive where they can playback the recorded conferences. The teachers of conferences can also publish/unpublish and delete the conference records. Users may join conferences in the corresponding section where all the announcements are listed; a teacher may also create, edit or delete the announcements. A registered user may also send a request to join a certain conference. A teacher may either accept or deny the access. The teacher's answers are sent via email.

And you shouldn't wait till the component collects enough statistics - you are able to add statistics manually! You can configure the text, link colour (including hover), the URL of twitter icon and whether the module shares the base URL or the page URL it is on. The button will open up a window where users can log in to their twitter account and tweet a link in your website. This means Google Analytics will be loading at the same time as other elements on your web page, therefore not slowing it down. As a result you can now place the Google Analytics code near the top of your page, which again means that your will get more accurate statistics in Google Analytics. If people navigate away from your page before the page is fully loaded the visit will still register in Goolge Analytics. Google recommends that you place the asynchronous code just after the body tag. Note! Some of the other extensions add the code to the head section. According to Google this can give you parsing problems on some versions of Internet Explorer.
